Rain and hail expected in parts of UAE through Monday
By Abu Dhabi Desk

The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast rain in certain areas of the UAE through Monday, with maximum temperatures reaching 38°C.
Rain and Hail Hit Several Areas
Heavy showers and hail have already affected several regions this week. The centre recorded 38 millimetres of rainfall in Masafi, the highest amount so far. Significant rainfall was reported in parts of Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman, Dubai and Al Dhafra, while northern and eastern areas also saw showers.
Cloud cover is expected over northern areas including Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and northern Sharjah, as well as Fujairah and Dibba in the east. These clouds may move inland, bringing additional rain. Hail is also likely in some eastern and northern areas.
Weekend Weather Outlook
Friday will bring fair to partly cloudy skies, with a chance of convective clouds producing rain in eastern and northern areas. Humidity is expected to rise overnight and into Saturday morning over western regions, and mist may form. Cooler temperatures are forecast in parts of the east and north.
Similar conditions are expected on Saturday, with further rain possible in the east and north. Winds will be light to moderate but may strengthen at times, stirring up dust. Gusts could reach 45 kilometres per hour.
On Sunday, rain is likely to persist in eastern and northern areas. Humidity will increase overnight and early Monday, possibly leading to fog or mist along some coasts and inland.
Early Next Week and Temperature Ranges
On Monday, convective clouds may produce additional showers in eastern areas. Humidity will rise overnight, with another chance of fog or mist early Tuesday.
Temperatures along the coast and on islands will range from 33°C to 37°C. Inland areas will see 35°C to 38°C, while mountainous regions will have 26°C to 32°C.
Authorities advise residents to follow official updates and warnings, especially when travelling through areas affected by rain, blowing dust or reduced visibility.
