Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to begin official visit to Canada on Monday

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, will depart for Canada on Monday for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

Planned high-level talks

During the visit, which starts on Monday, the Crown Prince is scheduled to meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. The discussions are expected to focus on deepening bilateral ties and advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries, according to a report by the state news agency Wam.

Priority areas for co-operation

Both sides will seek to expand co-operation across priority sectors, building on shared interests and long-term aspirations for growth and prosperity. Wam did not specify which sectors would be targeted ahead of the visit.
