Free Yas Express shuttle launched for Etihad Rail passengers at Mohamed bin Zayed City Station

Etihad Rail passengers arriving at the Mohamed bin Zayed City Station in Abu Dhabi can now use a free shuttle service to reach Yas Island. The Yas Express network has been introduced to connect train travellers with the island’s major attractions.

Free shuttle to Yas Island

The complimentary shuttle service links the Etihad Rail Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Zayed City Station directly to key destinations on Yas Island. These include Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The island also offers a range of hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues, making the connection convenient for both day visitors and those planning an extended stay.

Etihad Rail routes and fares

Etihad Rail currently operates five daily trains between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with a journey time of one hour and four minutes. Comfort class tickets start at 39 dirhams, while Premium class tickets are priced from 109 dirhams.

Between Dubai and Fujairah, one train runs per day, taking one hour and ten minutes. Fares begin at 29 dirhams for Comfort and 89 dirhams for Premium.

For the longest route on the current passenger network, Abu Dhabi to Fujairah, three trains operate daily. The journey lasts one hour and 51 minutes, with Comfort tickets from 55 dirhams and Premium from 120 dirhams.

Three trains per day also run between Abu Dhabi and Al Dhaid, the first station in Sharjah. The trip takes one hour and 24 minutes, with tickets starting at 59 dirhams in Comfort and 149 dirhams in Premium.

The shortest and cheapest Etihad Rail journey is between Fujairah and Al Dhaid, taking 25 minutes. Three services are available each day, with Comfort tickets from 19 dirhams and Premium from 49 dirhams.
