Ludovico Einaudi to perform with UAE National Orchestra in Abu Dhabi in January 2027

Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi is scheduled to perform live in Abu Dhabi on 27 January 2027 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. He will be accompanied by the UAE National Orchestra, marking his third appearance in the emirate. The concert was announced on Instagram.

Performance details

Einaudi, recognised for blending classical structures with contemporary influences, will present his emotive compositions with full orchestral backing. His style is often described as neoclassical minimalism, featuring hypnotic piano motifs and cinematic crescendos that bridge classical music and popular culture. The event is expected to give a boost to the orchestral music scene in Dubai, according to the organisers.

About the artist

Einaudi began playing piano as a toddler, inspired by his mother. He later studied at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan and was mentored by avant-garde composer Luciano Berio, which shaped his genre-crossing approach. He is among the most-streamed classical artists globally, with notable compositions including pieces for the film ‘The Intouchables’, as well as ‘Experience’ and ‘Nuvole Bianche’. Einaudi has sold over 2.5 million albums worldwide and has received awards such as a BAFTA and The Global Awards.
