Louvre Abu Dhabi, in partnership with France’s Guimet – National Museum of Asian Arts, presents the exhibition Spices and Wonders: Sailing the Indian Ocean. The display traces one thousand years of maritime exchange across the Indian Ocean, showing how the trade network linked the Arabian Peninsula, East Africa, India, Southeast Asia, China, Japan and Europe, moving precious goods and influencing cultures. Over two hundred objects are arranged in six thematic sections. The exhibition is open until 14 February. Admission costs Dhs70 for adults, with free entry for visitors under 18. Further details and tickets are available via the museum’s Instagram account @louvreabudhabi.
